CASE STUDY ONE

A BRANDING CASE STUDY

Bearden First Assembly of God
Bearden, AR

THE BRIEF

Create a strong brand voice for Bearden First Assembly of God, including a logo piece for the entire ministry, supporting icons for churches, In-house pre-service branded components, and a website that conveys the vital family aspect, traditional roots, and the hope for things to come. The brand and icon should be easily recognizable.

THE PROCESS

With a three-fold vision of the church and the awareness that this church believes firmly in the operations of the trinity in the modern church, I knew capitalizing on those thoughts would be the goal from early on in the process. I went through a few iterations of the brand's iconography, perfecting the visual representation by removing the stem of the letter B creating a three in reverse, and then stair-stepping the bars of the letter.

THE PRODUCT

A rounded icon and typeface are the perfect representation of the family and compassion aspects of the ministry. While the vivid blue, gray, and white lead the way in conveying stability, hopefulness, truth, and the hope of heaven that is ours through Jesus. Supported by navy blue, orange, yellow, and a dash of pink the BFA branding is received as a warm, well-established ministry striving to remain at the forefront of communicating God's love and the joy he brings us.
